BHJ USA, LLC. is a leading supplier of fresh/frozen meat blends to both the wet and dry pet food industries. We are seeking a motivated individual to assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment. Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability. Receives and unpacks materials and supplies. Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes by performing the following tasks:

•    Select, organize, and load pallets on trailers for all outgoing loads.
•    Inspects all pallets to ensure proper packaging, labeling, size, etc. in accordance with customer specifications and company policies. Take core samples as necessary. Scan each pallet label using handheld barcode reader and print shipping labels and attach to each pallet as per load instructions
•    Inspects all trailers per Company Shipping Sheet and complete this for each load.
•    Ensure loads are properly secured for shipment and within acceptable weight ranges. Ensure trailers are properly sealed with the seal provided by the Company. Document all quality control procedures performed, as appropriate
•    Receive incoming frozen material that has been approved by management. Weigh, prepare, and attach barcode label to each incoming pallet prior to placing material in freezer storage or per other procedure as determined by Plant Manager. Deliver labels and related incoming documents to office.
•    Ensure proper storage of daily production in freezer on a timely basis
•    Conduct inventory and cycle counts
•    Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)
•    Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company.

High school diploma or GED preferred. Must also possess the following skills:

•    Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
•    Ability to complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements
•    Ability to work as a part of a team and treat coworkers with respect
•    Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not required
•    Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification

Will be frequently exposed to extreme cold and wet conditions and be able to work around raw beef, chicken or other similar raw materials and odors.
