3rd Shift Melt Supervisor (Foundry)

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00/hour

Shift: 3rd Shift | Sunday – Friday | Approx. 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM

Lead and supervise melt crew during furnace setup, melting, and pouring operations

Oversee daily production to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met

Coordinate melt schedules and communicate updates with leadership and production teams

Train, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and skillsets

Monitor and maintain proper furnace operation (Electric Arc/Induction)

Perform and oversee quality checks using precision measuring tools

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe melt deck environment

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the foundry process

Prior supervisory experience in a foundry or metal melting environment

Hands-on experience operating Electric Arc and/or Induction furnaces

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools

Solid understanding of manufacturing safety practices (furnace, cranes, power tools)

Strong communication skills and dependable attendance

Ability to work overnight hours consistently

Basic math skills for measurements and process calculations
