Job Overview:

Position Overview

We are hiring Forklift Test Drivers to operate and test material-handling equipment in a manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced forklift operator who enjoys working with equipment and wants to be part of a team producing and testing industrial machinery.

Training will be provided on 1st shift initially. Candidates must be flexible and available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd-shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
  • Test equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
  • Follow established testing procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Identify and report equipment issues or irregularities.
  • Perform basic inspections before and during equipment operation.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  • Complete required documentation related to equipment testing and operation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6–12 months or more of forklift operating experience.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and demonstrate good equipment-handling skills.
  • Must be willing and able to submit to a drug test.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned 2nd shift.
  • Must be flexible to complete initial training on 1st shift.

Schedule

Regular Schedule: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
