We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Technician to join our team in Windsor Locks, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of forklift models, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. • Schedule:Wednesday-Saturday 8pm-6:30am

• Compensation starting at $22-$26/per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance equipment performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding equipment status and repairs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in forklift technology.

Qualifications

• Technical certification in forklift repair is a plus.
• Proven experience as a forklift technician or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and hydraulic components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate forklifts safely.

Years Of Experience

• 1-2: Experience logging work orders and PMs into computerized tracking systems.

• Experience with Crown, Raymond, and Toyota material handling equipment a plus.

• Candidates from an automotive or wheeled-army mechanics encouraged to apply
