Job Title: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

Location: Canaan, CT 06018

Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)

**Shift: **7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Shift Rotation

Schedule: Alternating bi-weekly schedule

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday

(Repeats every two weeks)

Pay Rate: $23.00/hour on W2

Position Overview

We are seeking a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to support warehouse and material handling operations at its Canaan, Connecticut facility. This is a contract opportunity supporting the Supply Chain Management team on a rotating 12-hour day shift schedule.

The ideal candidate will have forklift operating experience, basic warehouse knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Move raw materials, parts, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility
• Load, unload, store, and transport materials within warehouse and production areas
• Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records
• Follow all SOPs, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Support warehouse and logistics operations in a metric-driven environment
• Perform routine warehouse tasks including lifting, pulling, pushing, and stocking materials
• Use basic computer systems for inventory and operational tracking
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and leads

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred
• 0–1 year of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
