SUMMARY:
Operates a forklift to move product from receiving, storage areas to bins, and/or the production lines including Whole Peel Line, Peel Arena, and inside processing areas. Cleans equipment and work area and reports any food safety and employee safety concerns. Ensures there is an adequate supply of all product to dicer even-flow. Properly moves finished pallets into freezer and stores neatly. Moves finished totes into storage trailers or takes bins over to IQF line of byproduct. Ensures whole peeled finished product packaging materials are ready at line without stopping and all packaging is properly done. Supports all programs and policies to ensure product is of highest quality, meets specifications, and is safe, legal, and wholesome.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED; or at least three months forklift driving experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to pass Forklift Operator Authorization.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read two and three-syllable words and to recognized similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English. Ability to complete various paperwork requirements including English printing and math skills.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract, divide and multiply six digit numbers. Ability to perform these operations using units of American weight and measurement.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
