Job Description

Express Employment of San Bernardino is recruiting for a skilled Forklift Operator with experience in lumber or construction materials yard operations. This position involves safely operating Class 4 and Class 5 sit-down forklifts to load/unload trucks, move lumber, and organize the yard.

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE
• Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 4 and Class 5 forklifts (up to 10,000 lbs capacity).
• Load and unload trucks, including flatbed deliveries.
• Move and organize heavy lumber materials around the yard.
• Identify and handle lumber by size (2x4, 2x6, 2x10, etc.).
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain equipment properly.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of sit-down forklift experience required.
• Experience operating large capacity forklifts (10,000 lbs max).
• Ability to load/unload flatbeds and handle heavy materials.
• Knowledge of lumber sizes strongly preferred.
• Lumber yard or construction-related experience a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Steel-toe boots required.
