About the Role:

The Forklift Operator-Cooler plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within the Hammond Plant. This position is responsible for operating forklifts to transport goods to and from the cooler area, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and ensuring that all products are handled safely and in compliance with industry regulations. The operator will work closely with warehouse staff to coordinate the loading and unloading of materials, contributing to the overall productivity of the plant. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential, as the role involves managing perishable goods that require specific temperature controls. Ultimately, the Forklift Operator-Cooler helps maintain the integrity of the supply chain, ensuring that products are available for processing and distribution in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling perishable goods or working in a cooler environment.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move materials to and from the cooler area safely and efficiently.
