About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in Oxford, NC. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in this role. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and work closely with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift operator certification
• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with inventory management systems
• Experience with RF scanners
• Experience with order picking and packing
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and trailers
• Inspect and perform maintenance checks on forklifts
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Skills:

As a Forklift Operator, you will use your skills in operating a forklift, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and following safety procedures on a daily basis. You will also use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure that all merchandise is handled accurately and efficiently. Additionally, your communication skills will be important in working with other team members to complete tasks and maintain a safe work environment.
