The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within the warehouse. T

- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Pick orders using pick sheets and/or RF scanning equipment
- Receive, check in, and verify incoming shipments
- Prepare and stage outbound shipments, including shrink-wrapping and weighing loads
- Prepare and/or review bills of lading and shipping documentation
- Organize and secure materials (boxes, bales, pallets, super stacks) in a safe and orderly manner
- Rotate stock to ensure first-in, first-out (FIFO) practices
- Perform routine quality checks and report variances through proper channels
- Move materials, including hazardous materials, in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Analyze production schedules to coordinate material movement and delivery timing
- Maintain equipment (cleaning, oiling, recharging, refueling, basic inspection)
- Report faulty equipment, rack damage, or safety hazards immediately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in required meetings and safety/certification refresher training
- Remain alert to surroundings and ensure safe work practices in shared work zones
- Comply with all company policies, including safety, uniform, and operational procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED certificate preferred
- 1-3 years minimum forklift or material handling experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification preferred, recertification required after employment
- Ability to read labels, follow verbal and written instructions, Bilingual preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
- Regular standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping is required.
- Frequently carry or lift 25 pounds or more.

No travel is required for this job.
HOURS AND SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday (Saturday when needed)
- 3pm to 12am/1am
