Job Overview:

Functions:

  • To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.

  • Receive training as required.

  • Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.

Tasks:

  • Perform daily forklift inspection and submit documentation to supervisor.

  • Enter all data into SAP and scan all combos using EIM system.

  • Gather raw truck schedule and create dock papers for scanning of combos.

  • Unload combos and place on appropriate pallet and scan to location.

  • Review truck detail as compared to the bill of lading. Report any discrepancies.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor daily.

  • Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.

  • Forklift certified or must become certified.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • TM will pull pallets to the scale with a hook to verify weights.

  • Must be willing and able to lift and or move up to 50 pounds.

  • The Team Member is frequently required to walk.

  • The Team Member will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme cold.

  • The Team Member will work in an environment where the noise level is usually very loud.

Requirements:

  • 3 months continuous work history with the same employer.

  • 1 year forklift operator experience (can be with multiple employers) listed on the application.
