Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform order filler and checker duties.
Schedule: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM, or similar. Training may occur other times.
Salary Range: $16.50 To 17.50 Hourly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations
- Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage and report quality variances
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
- Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment
- Use radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions, as required
- Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment daily
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
- Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
- Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety, complying with OSHA and MSDS standards
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstation are in good working order and is free of safety hazards
- Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required
- Ensure set up is complete for shift change
- Report all injuries, illnesses, and near misses to management immediately
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations as set forth by 4over
- Complete and maintain required records and paperwork, as needed

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency
- One (1) to two (2) years previous forklift experience
CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills when faced with unexpected challenges, such as machine malfunctions, material shortages, or errors in print quality. Ability to adapt to new printing technologies or changes in production schedules, ensuring smooth operations despite changes.
- Time Management & Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple print jobs simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without sacrificing quality. Organizing workflows, preparing materials in advance, and optimizing print runs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in monitoring print jobs to ensure all details, such as color accuracy, image sharpness, and print placement, meet the required standards. Detecting small defects or inconsistencies during production and taking corrective action immediately.
- Communication Skills: Ability to read and understand corporate policies, job-related documents, and written/verbal instructions in English to ensure effective and compliant job performance.
- Strong foundational math skills, with the ability to perform basic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and efficient in managing time, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks accurately.
