Forklift Operator – 1st Shift - CE Salina, KS

Great Plains Manufacturing has an opening for a 1st Shift Forklift Operator in the Warehouse Department at our CE location in Salina, KS.

This position works Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays, as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide safe movement of parts to required staging areas or locations
Ensure correct part identification and delivery to correct location is a must to maintain inventory accuracy
Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment used
Ensure paperwork from vendors is accurate
Load and unload trucks
Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment
Follows all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE as required

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Must have forklift license or ability to obtain one
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understand team concepts and be a strong team player
Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations
Ability to use and understand AS400
Ability to read prints and be able to use tape measure, calipers, etc. as required
