Job Description

** 2nd shift (3 PM – 11:30 AM) $20.00 PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $1.50 per hour (differential) **

Requirements:

· Must have experience using forklift equipment.

· Previous warehouse experience required.

· Ability to stand/walk for an 8 -12-hour shift.

· Ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to work independently.

· Basic math skills.

Job Duties:

· Picking sorting and making customer orders ready for shipment to customer locations.

· Maintaining accurate case counts at all times.

· Load/unload product from carriers.

· Loading finished packages onto pallets/skids utilizing correct stack pattern.

· Moving pallets with upright and counterbalance forklifts.

· Shrink wrapping pallets utilizing shrink wrap machine and/or manual wrap.

· Inspecting pallets insuring they are up to spec and appropriate for shipments.

· Cleaning work areas and/or maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment.

· Keeping work areas organized.

· Keeping fork trucks operating by following operating instructions, performing limited preventive maintenance, advising management when there is a problem that requires vendor repair and/or safety lockout.

· Manual movement of materials as required.

· Counting for inventory as required.

· Other duties as required should there be a business need which may fall under the purview of other logistics personnel job duty descriptions.
