Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
• Perform picking and packing of products and materials.
• Use an RF scanner to scan, track, and locate inventory.
• Receive, verify, and put away incoming materials.
• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure products are accurately picked and packed.
• Move pallets and materials to designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory and follow warehouse procedures.
• Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and forklift operating procedures.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts preferred/required.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse scanning systems.
• Previous picking and packing experience.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to climb on/off forklifts and work around warehouse equipment.
• Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and safely handle materials.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
