As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play an important role in keeping the receiving department running smoothly and safely.
Safely and efficiently operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment.
Move, store, and document incoming materials and outgoing products.
Load and unload flatbed trailers carrying wood field boxes.
Stack field boxes up to 4-high safely and accurately.
Follow directions from supervisors, team leads, and department leads while supporting overall department operations.
Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
Ability to work outdoors and perform physical, repetitive tasks.
Comfortable working in a high-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.
Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR required).
High school diploma or GED.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and non-traditional schedules as needed.
We're especially interested in candidates who have experience in:
Receiving stations or agricultural receiving operations
Almond, nut, or other food processing facilities
Candidates with prior experience in the almond, nut, or agricultural industry are highly encouraged to apply. Their familiarity with harvest operations, receiving processes, and safety practices will help them succeed in this role.
Seasonal harvest operations
Loading, unloading, and staging incoming raw materials
Operating forklifts in outdoor, fast-paced production environments
Working around field bins, field boxes, and bulk agricultural products
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Overtime/Weekends: Required as needed
Assignment Duration: 2–4 months
Pay Rate: $26.06/hour
