Job Overview:

Material Handler (Contract-to-Hire)

Location: Lexington, KY

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday–Thursday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Pay: $18.00/hr + $0.50/hr shift premium

Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Looking to get your foot in the door with a company that values hard work and offers long-term opportunity? We’re hiring Material Handlers for a contract-to-hire role—meaning if you show up, work hard, and do well, this can become a full-time permanent position.

You’ll start with 1–2 weeks of paid training on 1st shift before moving to your regular 2nd shift schedule with premium pay and long weekends (only work 4 days a week).

Responsibilities:

  • Move raw materials from warehouse to production
  • Unload trucks and organize materials in designated areas
  • Perform inventory transfers and maintain stock accuracy
  • Replenish finished goods from production to warehouse
  • Operate a forklift (certification provided if needed)
  • Support physical inventory counts
  • Follow safety and company procedures

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Comfortable using computers and basic math
  • Able to lift and move materials throughout the shift
  • Willing to become forklift certified
