This is NOT a forklift Operator position, this is a Forklift Mechanic/ Heavy Equipment Mechanic position

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of forklifts and heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Conduct inspections and tests to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in forklift technology.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics preferred.
Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
