Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a freezer environment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and staging product while maintaining accurate inventory and following company safety procedures.
Responsibilities
Receive and verify inbound product
Store and organize product in freezer warehouse using proper rotation (FIFO)
Pick and stage orders as required
Operate forklifts and loading equipment safely
Assist with loading/unloading trailers
Follow all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Forklift experience preferred; must obtain company certification (including high-lift certification)
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Basic math, reading, and communication skills
Strong teamwork and time management skills
Ability to climb stairs/ladders
Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
Bilingual Spanish/English skills are encouraged but not required. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
Compensation & Schedule
Starting pay: $18.49 per hour
Increase to $19.49 per hour upon successful completion of company high-lift forklift certification requirements
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Freezer environment up to -20°F and high noise levels
Standing for extended periods; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
Repetitive stacking (approximately 400–500 cases per shift)
Frequent stooping, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to safely place pallets on racks up to 40 feet high
Vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
