Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on the overnight shift. This position will be responsible for managing raw materials, operating and monitoring production equipment, and ensuring machinery is running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and prepare raw materials to ensure plastic media is properly loaded into the machine.

Continuously monitor equipment, instrumentation, and production processes to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment, which may include:

* Extruders and dispersers

* Forklifts

* PLC-controlled equipment

* Water systems

* Pumps

* Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain optimal machine performance.

* Monitor production processes and identify potential equipment or operational issues.

* Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Perform routine equipment checks and communicate any maintenance or production concerns.

* Maintain accurate production and equipment records as required.

* Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

* Previous forklift experience is required.**

* Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.

* Ability to safely operate and monitor industrial equipment.

* Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and production processes.

* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Ability to work the **11:00 PM – 7:00 AM overnight shift** consistently.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

* Ability to lift, move, and handle raw materials as required.

* Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and industrial environments.

* Must be able to safely perform all required job duties.

Schedule

Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM**- 12 hour shifts. must be available weekends
