Job Description

**Job Title: Fork Lift Operator **

Duration: 12 months

Location: Jefferson GA 30549

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6 am - 2:30 pm + OT as required and determined by business demands

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

- Support the picking/packing, loading/unloading and general warehousing duties

- Understand method of locating materials

- Read a packing list and follow defined shipping/receiving protocols

- Record turnback’s

- Process rework work orders/purchase orders

- Perform and reconcile cycle counts, relentless root cause analysis

- Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies and maintain departmental quality standards

- Execute JDE transactions relative to your area of responsibility

- Perform 5S

- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Must be at least 18 years of age or older

- Experience in a high volume, high complexity, distribution environment preferred

- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.

- This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds.*
