Job Overview:

Foreman (Field Leader)

Pay: $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts

We are looking for an experienced Foreman (Field Leader) to take ownership of daily field operations and lead our crews to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to organize a crew, keep production moving, identify problems early, and hold technicians and subcontractors accountable.

As Foreman, you will be responsible for production, quality, safety, productivity, and field documentation. You will work closely with the project team to turn the project plan into successful day-to-day execution in the field.

What You'll Do

Lead and coordinate daily field activities and crews.

Assign daily work based on technician experience, skill level, and readiness.

Direct technicians and subcontractors on the jobsite.

Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.

Verify installations meet company and contractual quality standards.

Perform quality checks and identify deficiencies before they result in rework.

Monitor crew productivity and labor hours against daily goals. Identify and communicate manpower, material, scheduling, and productivity concerns.

Enforce jobsite safety procedures and conduct required safety briefings.

Stop work when unsafe conditions or significant quality concerns are identified.

Maintain accurate daily field reports using Fieldwire.

Upload jobsite photos, progress updates, issues, and punch-list items.

Track task completion and maintain accurate field documentation.

Verify technician hours accurately reflect work performed.

Track daily crew productivity and labor efficiency.

Identify scope changes, site constraints, and potential project risks.

Communicate field and execution issues through the appropriate project-management channels.

Coach technicians on proper installation methods and field procedures.

Identify skill gaps and communicate training needs.

Assist with onboarding and development of new technicians.

Complete required Trainual training milestones.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of construction or technical installation experience.

Previous experience as a Foreman, Lead Technician, Crew Lead, or similar field leader.

Strong knowledge of installation practices and jobsite safety. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities in a field environment.

Strong sense of accountability and ownership.

Ability to make practical decisions and remain calm under pressure.

Commitment to doing the job safely and correctly the first time.

Experience with Fieldwire or similar construction field-management software is preferred.
