Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman - CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team in Germantown, WI. In this role, you will lead a dedicated group of machinists, ensuring the efficient operation of CNC machinery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of CNC machinists to ensure timely and accurate production.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce high-quality components.
- Monitor job performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in CNC machining and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve any machining issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
- 10+ years experience as a CNC machinist, with at least 3 years in a lead-man or foreman role.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on team collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in a machining environment.
