Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Shop Foremen and Construction Foremen to lead crews, coordinate daily operations, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong communication skills, the ability to manage personnel, and a willingness to work alongside your team when needed.
Candidates may come from construction, fabrication, manufacturing, structural steel, industrial, commercial, utility, concrete, or related industries.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field or shop personnel
- Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure quality standards are met
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and manpower requirements
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce company safety procedures
- Monitor project timelines and communicate progress to management
- Train and mentor employees on proper work practices
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in real time
- Maintain accurate job documentation and reporting
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within company standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Leadman, Supervisor, or Crew Leader
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Experience coordinating multiple employees and subcontractors
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings preferred
- Knowledge of construction methods, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work overtime as needed
