Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of food preparation areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness in cooking and storage areas.
• Assist in the proper disposal of waste and recycling materials.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
• Support other team members in maintaining a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food sanitation or a related field is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
