This facility operates six days a week and produces Philly Style Beef and Chicken Steak. We have an open position for second shift. Position Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced.
Completion of production paperwork verification
Completion of production floor checks
Performing GMP and housekeeping audits
Responsible for Team Member food safety and safety training
Other duties assigned are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, coordinating with others.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Food Safety and Quality Assurance experience required. 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Prior supervisory and Lab experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, SSOP’s.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets, etc. SAP knowledge preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
Position-Specific Requirements: Weekend work required.
