This facility operates six days a week and produces Philly Style Beef and Chicken Steak. We have an open position for second shift. Position Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for food safety, food quality, and legality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards of products produced.
• Completion of production paperwork verification
• Completion of production floor checks
• Performing GMP and housekeeping audits
• Responsible for Team Member food safety and safety training
• Other duties assigned are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, coordinating with others.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree, special training, vocational school and/or college courses is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Food Safety and Quality Assurance experience required. 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment preferred. Prior supervisory and Lab experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred; must have broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, SSOP’s.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets, etc. SAP knowledge preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus.
• Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel who perform somewhat similar tasks.
• Travel: 1-5 trips per year.
• Position-Specific Requirements: Weekend work required.
