Final Packaging Associate
Position Summary:
The Final Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging, labeling, inspecting, and preparing finished food products for shipment while ensuring quality, food safety, and production standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Package and label finished products according to specifications.
- Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and packaging defects.
- Verify labels, lot codes, and expiration dates.
- Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Pack products into cases and prepare pallets for shipment.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a food production environment and wear required PPE.
Reports To: Packaging Supervisor or Production Manager.
