Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Food Manufacturing or Food Packaging Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems, including Allen Bradley controllers, to minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
• Utilize pneumatics and hydraulics expertise to support various manufacturing processes.
• Set up and operate welding equipment for production needs.
• Assist in PLC programming and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) configuration.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure packaging equipment operates efficiently.
• Utilize voltage detectors and other tools to ensure safety and compliance in all electrical work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food and beverage manufacturing environments.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting skills, particularly with Allen Bradley systems.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical installation practices and safety standards.
• Familiarity with welding setups and processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
