Folder / Gluer Machine Operator – $19–$24/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Folder / Gluer Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience operating folding, gluing, die-cutting, or print-finishing equipment who enjoys hands-on machine operation and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to independently set up, adjust, and maintain production equipment.

Our facility utilizes Moll folding equipment to produce specialty packaging products using both cold glue and hot-melt adhesive applications. Experience with Moll folders is a plus!

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust folding and gluing machinery to meet production specifications.

• Install and change flexible dies on die-cutting equipment based on product requirements.

• Adjust folding lanes, guides, and machine settings to ensure accurate folds.

• Monitor and adjust cold glue and hot-melt adhesive applications.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, machine jams, alignment problems, and production defects.

• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet specifications.

• Monitor production output and make adjustments to minimize downtime and waste.

• Document machine adjustments, production issues, and corrective actions.

• Assist other production team members when needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating folder/gluer or similar folding equipment required.

• Experience with Moll folders strongly preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

• Ability to perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers.

• Understanding of quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience with die-cutting equipment, packaging machinery, or print-finishing operations is a plus.
