Essential Functions:
- Have job jacket, changeover components, and product at gluer
- Perform line clearance procedures.
- Read all instructions applying to gluer on the job jacket prior to running job.
- Understands and carry out the material stripping process when required.
- Understands both the input and output of the gluer operation.
- Assists in the performance of preventative maintenance on the gluer when requested.
- Assists in clean up and in keeping the immediate work area around the gluer neat and orderly.
- Responsible for reviewing product to quality standards and job jacket requirements
- Notify Gluer Operator and/or Quality when quality standards are not met
- Responsible for the correct packing and labeling of in-process and finished product
- Ensures all quality checks are completed in a timely manner
- Saves retains for Quality as per instructions from job ticket
- Ensures all safety rules and regulations are followed
- Ensure work is being done properly or asks questions if unsure
- Assists in fulfillment and assembly when requested
- Performs other tasks as may be required or requested
- Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, case making, labeling operations and sorting
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Perform related duties as required by supervision
Position Requirements:
High school diploma, G.E.D. or Vocational/Technical degree or equivalent experience in gluer operations.
