Job Description

GENERAL FUNCTION

• follows production schedule, obtains supplies for workstation and on continuous basis, assembles Foam Encased units according to GMS specifications.
• removes spring assemblies from packaging and prepares for Matt Build department
• area and removes packaging materials and/or other debris regularly throughout the shift.
• Completes any necessary paperwork or production related documentation in an accurate and timely manner when needed.
• Assists Matt Supply as instructed
• Cross trains as requested in other Matt Build/Tape Edge operations and/or other equipment or operations in order for the Plant to operate efficiently.

QUALIFICATIIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write and understand basic English
• Good eye/hand coordination
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with hands
• Ability to move up to 60 pounds

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School graduate or equivalent 
• Prior assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
