Responsibilities

Perform flux core welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
Set up welding equipment and maintain tools to ensure optimal performance.
Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain a safe working environment.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder or similar welding role.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is preferred.
