Floor Technician

Location: Stuttgart, AR

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay: $50,000–$60,000/year (approx. $23–$28/hour), DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM | Overtime available

Job Summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Floor Technician for a local industrial facility in Stuttgart. This position operates and monitors processing equipment, performs routine equipment checks, and helps keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Start, operate, monitor, and shut down processing equipment
• Monitor temperature, pressure, and other equipment readings
• Make basic process adjustments to maintain production
• Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues
• Perform basic quality checks and maintain production records
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Hands-on industrial/mechanical experience or trade certification preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and heat
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends/overnights as needed
