Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press Operator to join our team in Tampa, FL.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you'll help make sure each job runs smoothly from start to finish. You'll follow detailed instructions, operate press equipment, and keep an eye on quality, safety, and performance throughout the shift.
Follow detailed job orders closely, spotting and fixing any issues that come up
Set up and adjust the press to meet job specifications
Monitor print quality during production and make corrections as needed
Watch for equipment issues and call in maintenance if necessary
Start and run jobs according to the production schedule
Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good shape
Meet goals for output, minimize waste, and reduce spoilage
Your Shift:
1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00am – 3:00pm
You Must Have:
Mechanical and technical aptitude
Solid math skills (able to use a ruler and calculate label dimensions)
Ability to operate equipment and meet production/quality standards
Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
Strong communication skills
Sharp attention to detail
Requirements Within This Position:
Able to clearly share and understand job information
Often remains in a stationary position during shift
Regularly operates machinery and handles printed materials
Moves throughout the facility frequently
Routinely lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries 25+ pounds
We Would Also Prefer:
Ability to distinguish colors (helpful for quality checks)
Previous experience in a production setting
High school diploma or equivalent
