Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products through precise welding and fitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to execute projects accurately.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks.
• Conduct pipe threading, rigging, and assembly of components as required.
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards through inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the construction site.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

• Proven construction site experience with a focus on welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and soldering techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery effectively.
• Familiarity with basic math for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
• Experience with ductwork installation and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating attention to detail.
