Essential Job Functions


JOB DESCRIPTION:

· Assembly of pumper bodies including huck-bolt installation, welding of aluminum and stainless steel, caulking seams, setting water tanks and fitting trim panels prior to paint.

· Welding of various structural extrusions

· General assembly work as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to read and understand assembly and part drawings.

· Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

· Experience in safely operating power tools (drills, saws, grinders, etc.).

· Experience in MIG and TIG welding of various materials.

· Detail oriented with a drive for quality work output.

· Ability to measure and complete drawing-based order forms for in-house parts fabrication.

· Must be able to safely use step ladders or truck installed climbing systems to gain access to upper areas of trucks.
