Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Fire Inspection / Service Technician to perform on-site inspections, testing, maintenance, and service calls for fire protection systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on fire inspection experience, industry knowledge, and backflow certification, along with strong technical and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site inspections and testing of various fire protection systems, including:

  • Fire, domestic, and irrigation backflow systems

  • Wet and dry fire sprinkler systems

  • Fire alarm systems

  • Fire pumps

  • Antifreeze systems

  • Standpipe systems

  • Fire hydrants

  • Internal 5-year fire sprinkler inspections

• Complete and maintain inspection reports using ServiceTrade software.

• Perform fire sprinkler and backflow service calls, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Communicate regularly with the Inspection / Service Coordinator regarding job progress and service requirements.

• Maintain professional relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service.

• Work independently while ensuring inspections and service work are completed accurately and efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in the fire protection industry.

• Hands-on fire inspection experience.

• Backflow certification (Required).

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Ability to use an iPad and inspection reporting software.

• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

• Ability to think logically, troubleshoot, and solve problems.

• Ability to speak, read, and write English.

• Ability to work independently.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

• State Fire Sprinkler License.

• Denver Fire Sprinkler License.

• Denver Fire Alarm License.

• Additional backflow licensing or certifications.
