Summary: Responsible for preparing and expediting manufactured product for shipping with emphasis on quality, efficiency, safety, and quantity. Responsible for shipping orders in the most efficient and economical manner with emphasis on customer requirements by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for rerolling, slitting, and packaging labels per order specifications and job standards.*
2. Verifies amounts per roll, quantities needed to fill the order, copy direction, etc. are done accurately.*
3. Verifies all special instructions have been acknowledged and completed.*
4. Responsible for addressing orders in a prioritized fashion paying close attention to E.S.D. in conjunction with scheduling.*
5. Approaches each task with safety in mind.*
6. Maintains a clean and safe work area.*
7. Maintains working knowledge of all departmental policies and procedures.*
8. Ensures all packages meet necessary shipping regulations and schedules carriers for pick up and deliveries.*
9. Responsible for being aware of inventory levels and notifying supervisor when low on any items.*
10. Performs other duties as required.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of spreadsheet software and manufacturing software.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
