Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our growing team. As a Production Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the assembly and packing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, excellent leadership skills, a proven track record of optimizing manufacturing operations, the ability to make decisions quickly, and possess good verbal and written communication capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Create detailed production schedules, considering resource availability and production capacity.
• Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to optimize production efficiency.
• Set and monitor daily KPI’s for assembly and packing lines.

Quality Control:

• Establish and enforce quality control standards to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes.
• Investigate and address any issues related to product quality promptly.

Resource Management:

• Effectively allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize production output.
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies.
• Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and reduce production costs.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative production techniques.
• Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in production management, with a successful track record of meeting production targets.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Familiarity with quality control standards and procedures.
• Proficient in using production management software and tools.
• Good verbal and written communication capabilities.
