Finance Lead, Financial Reporting at a glance….

The Finance Lead, Financial Reporting leads a critical function responsible for both the consolidation and reporting of the global results of Kraft Heinz and the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings. This is a high-visibility role requiring direct interaction with senior management including the CEO, CFO and the Disclosure Committee, as well as preparation of materials for the Audit Committee. The highest degree of communication skills, both written and oral is required to assist Investor Relations and Legal in creating clear and compliant filings and external communications that accurately reflect the results of the company, as well as other regulatory requirements such as debt-related filings. This role requires coordinating the flow of information from multiple business units located worldwide to the various global finance teams and senior management. In this role, you will work with an experienced team, in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Additionally, this role will assist in other significant projects, which vary based on our business transactions and priorities (e.g., acquisitions, divestitures, debt related activities, system implementations, training initiatives, etc.).

What’s on the menu?

  • Responsible for the preparation of required annual and quarterly SEC filings, as well as other required filings related to debt activity, the annual proxy statement and 8-K filings

  • Providing guidance and leading practice related to emerging reporting issues such as new accounting standards and SEC related activity

  • Managing the consolidation team through the monthly close process and presentation and explanation of financial results to upper management

  • Evaluate and approve updates and changes to the global consolidation and reporting tool, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM and participate in the development of other systems and their integration to the global financial reporting process

  • Collaborating across our global organization to develop financial information and analysis supporting internal and external reporting needs

  • Managing the integrated audit with external auditors/

  • Leading special projects related to financial reporting or new/developing accounting topics, M&A activity, accounting system updates, as required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred

  • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience, with 5+ years of Management experience required

  • Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience preferred

  • Considerable public accounting experience, with an emphasis on SEC engagements

  • Strong work-ethic, communication skills (written and verbal), and drive to learn

  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills

  • Ability to work efficiently and achieve results, while maintaining high quality

  • Excellent analytical, teamwork, and leadership skills

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$141,500.00 - $176,900.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
