Job Overview:


            Major Areas of Responsibility

            • Able to set up and make adjustment to the fin press

            • Able to set up and make adjustments to the FRM

            • Able to operate the control panel

            • Able to change fin dies as required to meet production requirements

            • Able to load double un-coiler using jib boom and/or overhead crane

            • Able to operate stacker

            • Manage and organize fin inventory

            • Maintain a safe and clean work area

            • Maintain equipment daily (Preform PM’s)

            • Insure that all equipment is working safely and properly

• Make quality checks to insure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and productions expectations

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience

• Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)

• Read a tape measure to within 1/16”

• Measure to within .0001” using dial caliper and micrometer

• A general understanding of common hand tools is preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems

• High School diploma or GED equivalent

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing environment

• Continuous standing, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday

• Lifting of 50 lbs. or less

• Wear PPE when required – Manufacturing Areas

• Shift work, days (Monday through Friday)

• Assist in other areas of the shop when needed
