We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Welding Supervisor to join our team in Mentor, OH. In this role, you will oversee welding operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. ## Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate welding activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Lead and mentor a team of welders, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.

• Review project plans and specifications to determine welding requirements and ensure proper execution.

• Conduct regular inspections of welding work to ensure quality and adherence to industry standards.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.

• Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the welding process.

• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding or related fields preferred.

• Proven experience in welding, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
