Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, and we are committed to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $44,530 - $58,999.60. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

 

Join Our Team as a Field Service Support Specialist!

The PSS Support Specialist will support the processes and systems related to servicing our customers and supporting our sales and service staff. The incumbent will provide both administrative and analytical support and will develop our analytical and reporting capabilities to provide insights into key trends and performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities: 

Administration

  • Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and physical) to ensure easy retrieval of information. 
  • Process paperwork, forms, reports, and documentation accurately and on time. 
  • Book meeting rooms, arrange catering, prepare agendas, and support meeting minutes. 
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including email, mail, and courier deliveries. 
  • Prepare and format documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations. . 
  • Update internal databases, logs, and tracking tools to ensure data accuracy. 
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information in accordance with policy. 
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Data Entry

  • Enter, update, and verify data in various systems and databases.
  • Processing of incoming orders, accepting PO’s, in Oracle and validating customer information, orders and purchase order details. 
  • Complete and maintain Quotes in Salesforce.
  • Maintain customer accounts to ensure accuracy and current information. 
  • Process and coordinate internal orders related to emergency stock replenishment, equipment repairs, and technician service requests
  • Review documents for completeness and accuracy before entry. 
  • Correct errors and inconsistencies in data to ensure high-quality records. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. 
  • Retrieve and organize data as required for reporting or audits. 
  • Communicate with internal teams to clarify incomplete or missing information. 
  • Follow company data entry procedures and quality standards.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability for service and operational needs. 
  • Track, update, and reconcile inventory records in internal systems. 
  • Coordinate replenishment of emergency stock and maintain accurate counts for frequently used items.  
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, labeling, and recording incoming materials or equipment. 
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory audits. 
  • Identify discrepancies between system records and physical stock; investigate and resolve variances. 
  • Communicate low stock alerts, shortages, or delays to relevant internal teams. 
  • Support returns, repairs, and warranty-related inventory processes.

Material Handling

  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies. 
  • Load, unload, and move incoming and outgoing materials within the warehouse or service area. 
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. 
  • Organize, label, and store inventory following proper handling and safety procedures. 
  • Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment or technician requests. 
  • Maintain clean and organized warehouse aisles, shelves, and storage areas. 
  • Follow all safety protocols, equipment inspection checklists, and workplace guidelines. 
  • Assist with cycle counts, stock rotation, and inventory reconciliation as required. 
  • Report equipment issues, damaged materials, or safety hazards to management.

 

Additional Functions 

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with others. 
  • May be required to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

 

What you’ll need to succeed: 

Required

  • Completion of high school 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be adaptable to changing business needs
  • A team player with high level of dedication

 

Preferred 

  • Diploma in Business Administration or a related field
  • Focus on abilities by expressing knowledge and experience in terms of depth, breadth, and context rather than a length of time.
  • Use specific language rather than general, e.g., the ability to simplify and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, rather than excellent communication skills.
  • Consider the possibility of broad subject knowledge or skill transfer, rather than particular skills or experience, e.g., having broad marketing experience may be sufficient with detailed subject matter knowledge developed on the job.
