GENERAL FUNCTION
Provides leadership on construction project sites, coordinating activities of crews, communicating with clients,
and successfully resolving issues. Ensures schedules are met and projects come in on budget. Applies
knowledge of the trade to complete jobs and ensure client satisfaction.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Get “in-house” and subcontractor crews started in the morning
· Serve as primary point of contact with the client, acting as the “face” of Tredegar
· Coordinate scheduling between the client and various work crews
· Run errands to purchase material for “in-house” and subcontractor crews
· Fix tools to keep “in-house” crews working
· Install and pick-up job signs from customer yards
· Close out jobs by completing the following:
- Running magnet in yard and landscape for nails and debris
- Speaking to customer to ensure satisfaction
- Returning excess material to distributor for credit
- Providing quality control on all jobs with checklist
· Develops and maintains effective relationships with all builder and non-profit clients
· Communicates job completion status to office to allow for timely vendor payment
· Take and send photos to office for social media promotion of projects
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 5 Years Construction Experience, preferably with knowledge of roofing, siding, gutters, and crawl space
solutions
· Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record, ability to use company vehicle for daily business use
· Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
· Detail oriented and punctual
· Ability to lift a minimum of 80 lbs with proper safety precautions in place
· Willingness to work in inclement weather, to include, but not limited to rain, extreme cold and heat
· Ability to communicate effectively – bilingual is a plus
· Ability to read and interpret residential building plans
· Ability to calculate figures and apply basic fiscal functions
PREFERRED SKILLS
· Knowledge of local and state building codes and permit requirements
· Computer proficient including experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
