We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. As a Field Service Welder, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality welding services on-site, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support.

-All travel costs are covered

-Per Diem is involved and will be discussed through the process

-Mechanical maintenance skills are requried for the job

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Travel to client locations to provide on-site welding services and repairs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure weld integrity and compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the field.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address project needs and updates.
  • Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training preferred.

  • Proven experience as a welder, with a minimum of 3 years in a field service role.

  • Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG/Stick)

  • Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
