Mobile Equipment Repair Technician (Field Mechanic) – San Mateo, Santa Cruz & Monterey Counties

A well-established industry leader is seeking an experienced Mobile Technician/Field Mechanic to join a high-performing team servicing commercial turf and landscape equipment across Northern California. What You’ll Do

• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems

• Deliver high-level service and maintain strong customer satisfaction

• Manage your own schedule and territory with flexibility and autonomy

• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reporting

• Collaborate closely with the Field Services Manager to ensure top-tier support

Territory

• Primary: San Mateo, Santa Cruz, and Monterey Counties

• Occasional travel to surrounding areas; overnight travel may be required

What It Takes

Required:

• 5+ years of hands-on technician or mechanical experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Specialized training in gas/diesel engine repair

• Clean driving record; ability to lift up to 75 lbs

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and virtual meeting tools

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset

Preferred:

• Experience with commercial turf or construction equipment

• Familiarity with diagnostic software

• Fleet maintenance or management experience

• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
