Job Overview:

TekPro Manufacturing is looking to hire Field Service Technicians with direct Injection Mold Machine experience. This is a Direct Hire permanent position that offers competitive pay rates, health benefits, and future career growth!

Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment at client sites. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, along with the ability to provide excellent customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, commission, and calibrate injection molding machines and associated equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.

  • Train customer personnel on proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Provide technical support via phone, email, or on-site visits as needed.

  • Maintain detailed service records and submit reports on work completed.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Collaborate with engineering and customer service teams to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Travel to customer sites as required, sometimes on short notice.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Field Service Technician working with injection molding machines.

  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

  • Familiarity with brands such as Arburg, Engel, Husky, or Milacron is a plus.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.

  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in industrial environments.
