Job Overview:

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains service truck and performs daily inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collects information during testing and inspection to provide customers with recommendations on equipment status.
  • Start up new producing wells, and restart down wells.
  • Optimize downhole and surface equipment.
  • Troubleshoot wells experiencing NPT.
  • Adjust quickly to changing job assignments/requirements and the flexibility to work overtime with little or no advance notice.
  • Completes daily timesheet of hours worked.
  • Provide training to other NOV personnel on systems and equipment as needed.
  • Collaborate frequently with internal and external customers.
  • Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
  • Complete and submit field service documentation and daily reporting on time.
  • Follows all PPE requirements guidelines and maintains a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Utilize safe work habits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Must be able to travel weekly and work overtime as required.
  • Overtime may be required during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customer and contractor personnel.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator and fresh air mask as needed.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily.
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Mechanical or electrical background required.
  • Mechanical, plumbing, and technical experience with mechanical, electrical, or rotating equipment in the ESP service is preferred.
  • Start-up and trouble-shooting experience with ESPs preferred
  • ESP experience is preferred, and we are committed to developing the right candidate with advanced hands-on, practical, and coursework instruction
