**Title - Field Service Technician

**

**Duration – 6 months Contract

**

**Location - Stone Mountain, GA 30087Pay Rate: $25.00/Hr. - $31.00/Hr. On W2

**

**Shift – 7am-5:30pm (Monday-Thursday) | OT On Fridays or rain make up days. 

**

**Note:

**

Contractor will need to be flexible to begin work from multiple locations in Stone Mountain or other areas in Georgia.

**PPE

**: Steel toes boots. All other PPE is provided by Client.

**Position Summary:

**

Executes filed service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

**Roles & Responsibilities:

**

• Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization.

• Takes care of company property.

• Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions.

• Identify and remedy safety issues both Company and Customer owned equipment.

• Direct interfacing with customer. Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies.

**Organization Impact:

**

• First line of technical service support. Customer facing. High utilization.

• Accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system.

• Inspecting valves and servicing hydrants.

**Position Requirements-

**

• HS diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to obtain TWIC card. Technical experience.

• Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises.

• Must have customer service experience.

• Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability.

• Able to pass a credit check.

• Able to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements.

**Physical requirements:

**

• Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.

• Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

• Must be able to climb and descend stairs.

• Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.

• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.

• May work indoors and outdoors as needed.

• Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees.

• May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required.

• May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt.

• Work surfaces may include concrete.

• Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.

• Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
